4 Things Your Real Estate Website Should Have
Is your website converting traffic into leads? Are visitors leaving right after the home page? There are many reasons why this could be happening but likely you’re missing some important features on your website.
We found high performing websites include these 4 elements on their sites:
Contact Page
Your contact page should consist of
Your Headshot
Agent Info ( Text or Video)
Contact Info ( email / phone/ etc)
Office/Service Location
Your viewers want to see who they will be working with and learn more about you. By having a professional headshot and a short bio in either text or video format, you are building trust with the reader and have a higher chance of converting them into a lead.
Sounds obvious but make sure your lead form is working properly and consistently shown throughout your entire website. You don’t know when they’ll be ready but you want that lead form to be there when they are.
2. Landing Page
Landing pages are a great way to generate leads and a fast way for viewers to leave their information. Usually, you want to offer free valuable information in exchange for their contact information.
Examples are:
Blog:
You can have a blog and have a lead form on the side or as a pop-up where you are able to send them exclusive information via email. This could be a market report on your service area or a neighborhood report.
Home Evaluation:
If a homeowner is on your website, it is likely they are looking for someone to help them sell their house. Create a landing page where you are able to receive their address and send them a free evaluation via email.
3. Listings
Being an agent showcasing your listing is an obvious must. Make sure you have an IDX feed so that your listings are linked to MLS’s listings.
Professional media such as photos, video tours, virtual tours, and floor plans can greatly increase your chances of a visitor engaging with your listings.
4. Reviews
90% of people online looking for reviews before buying a product or service. This is no different. You have to remember, they are trusting you with their biggest asset (in most cases) so having reviews can build trust with your potential client. You have reviews showcased on your homepage, a review page, and contact us page.
